Frequently Asked Questions
How does token-based billing work?
You are billed based on the total number of tokens processed — both input (your prompts) and output (model responses). Each plan includes a monthly token quota. If you exceed your quota, requests will be rejected until the next billing period or you upgrade.
What happens when I hit my token limit?
When you reach your plan's token quota, new cargo load requests will return a 429 error. You can upgrade your plan at any time to immediately restore access with a higher quota.
Can I change plans at any time?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time through the billing dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
What is batch processing and why is it cheaper?
Convoy uses batch processing to handle requests asynchronously at up to 50% lower cost than real-time APIs. Results are typically available within minutes to hours depending on volume.
Do you offer refunds?
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new paid subscriptions. Contact support@cnvy.ai within 14 days of your first payment for a full refund.
Is there a free trial?
The Free plan is available indefinitely with 100K tokens/month — no credit card required. This lets you evaluate Convoy before committing to a paid plan.
